Air Knight 10 Revolve (エアナイト・テン・リボルブ, Ea Naito Ten Riborubu) is a Stamina Type Beyblade released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System as well as the Cho-Z Layer System. It was released in Japan on July 23rd, 2020 for 1100円 as one of eight possible Beyblades in Random Booster Vol. 21.
Energy Layer - Air Knight
- Main article: Energy Layer - Air Knight
Takara Tomy's Air Knight is a Stamina Type Energy Layer, that features a wide, round perimeter. As part of the Cho-Z Layer System, Air Knight features metal in its design; in this case, the inner circumference of the Energy Layer is lined with metal. Like Maximum Garuda, Air Knight features blades that connect to its perimeter, creating Upper Force.
In theory the Upper Force will "lift" the Beyblade off of the Stadium and decrease friction between the Performance Tip and the stadium floor to improve Stamina. In practice however, the blades instead create air resistance when spinning and slow the Beyblade down, an issue that becomes exacerbated the harder Air Knight is launched.
Due to its round shape and excellent Outward Weight Distribution (OWD), Air Knight is an excellent option for Stamina/Defense Combinations.
Forge Disc - 10
- Main article: Forge Disc - 10
10, like other even numbered Core Discs, is symmetrical and elliptical in shape in order to facilitate a Disc Frame. Each side features five protrusions, each molded into the shape of a "10". The protrusions extend further from the center more than other Core Discs which grants 10 high Outward Weight Distribution (OWD) and subsequent Stamina potential. Furthermore, the size of the protrusions makes 10 one of the heaviest Core Discs at the time of writing, heavier than 7 but less than 0, and grants an ideal weight distribution for Stamina Combinations. Its high Outward Weight Distribution (OWD) grants it not only the highest Stamina potential out of all other Core Discs, but its weight grants it high Attack and Defense potential. With the use of Frames, 10 can be used to great effect in any Combination.
Performance Tip - Revolve
- Main article: Performance Tip - Revolve
Revolve features a sharp tip of a small diameter surrounded by a free spinning ring, akin to the Around Sharp Performance Tip from the Metal Fight Saga. The sharp tip of Revolve provides low friction with the stadium floor, resulting in high Stamina and Burst Defense properties. While the small diameter of the sharp tip may imply easy Destabilization, the wide diameter of the free spinning ring helps maintain Stability. The wide diameter of the ring also provides Revolve high Precession time which is useful against Opposite-Spin and Mobile Stamina Combinations. Furthermore, when launched at an angle, the free spinning ring of Revolve makes more contact with the stadium floor resulting in decent Knock-Out Resistance, however said Knock-Out Resistance still lags behind that of Orbit and Atomic due to the lower surface area and some Beyblades that are off center are easier to Burst.
In the current metagame, Revolve is best suited for Pure Stamina Combinations due to the release of Atomic. However, Revolve's spring lock is stronger than that of Atomic and Orbit's, allowing it to be a safer choice for Layers with weak teeth such as Deep Chaos.
Due to considerable manufacturing variations, Bladers must be careful when using this Tip. Some variations of Revolve do not spin freely as they should, and the disc becomes very stiff to tilt. Others have the disc pop out after significant usage. For competitive use, the most free spinning one is ideal. The chances of obtaining one, however, are random.
