Akio (昭夫, Akio) is a character appearing in the anime series, Beyblade Burst. His beyblade is unknown.
Appearance
Akio is a boy of average height for his age, and has ruffled orange hair and blue eyes. He wears beige khakis, and a light blue-white t-shirt with a dark blue collar and sleeves.
Personality
Akio is a cheerful blader and a very good friend to Toko Aoi and Nika Aoi. He encourages Nika to keep trying so that she can become better at battling, and he also is a good sport about losing to Toko, hoping that he can catch up in skill. He also comforts Nika after she loses to him, and agrees with the other two that they will always love beyblade.

Relationships
Toko Aoi
Akio is a very close friend to Toko, and wishes to become equal in skill to him. The two of them agree that beybattling is fun, and they are happy when they play together. Akio is very surprised when he wins, and tells him that he did a good job, but that he would try even harder to win against Toko next time.
Nika Aoi
Akio also tries to help Nika, because she is a new blader, and tries to teach her how to battle. He is kind to her, and she is also nice to him. He also helps her get past being discouraged when she doesn't win against him and becomes sad afterwards.
