Operate is an Armor Tip released by Hasbro as part of the Burst System as well as the QuadDrive System. It debuted in western countries with the release of the Galaxy Orbit Battle Set.
Description
Hasbro's Operate is an Armor Tip version of Takara Tomy's Operate Performance Tip. Like other Armor Tips, it can be attached to QuadDrive Performance Tips via two attachment points. When attached to a QuadDrive Performance Tip, it is referred to as the "Plus Mode", essentially replacing the QuadDrive Performance Tip as the main contact point with the Beystadium. The subsequent height becomes similar to that of a SpeedStorm Performance Tip.
The Operate Armor Tip retains the same general shape of its Performance Tip counterpart, featuring a wide round tip, however with a flattened tip instead of a ball tip. Like other Armor Tips, the Operate Armor Tip lacks the gimmick of its Performance Tip counterpart, and is unable to change between modes. It is instead fixed in the Attack Mode, and is thus off-center, creating erratic movement.
