The goal for Attack-Types are to defeat the opposing Beyblade by either depleting all of its Stamina or knock-out (KO) it out of the BeyStadium. However, they must accomplish this in the least amount of time, because Attack-Types heavily rely on makery-fast Blade Bases (Plastics), Running Cores (HMS), or Performance Tips (MFB). Attack-Types also tend to use Attack Rings (Plastics and HMS) or Fusion Wheels (MFB) designed with spikes and protrusions throughout for a violent appearance, in order to place the most damage to the opponent. If you desire to build an Attack-type, the two most important fundamental pieces are the performance tip and fusion wheel. The performance tips are mainly composed of flat derivatives (tips with "F" in the designation) while, as read above, the fusion wheels tend to have "blades" or "wings" on them. Examples are Blitz, Omega, Galaxy, Storm, etc., etc....

With this, Attack-Types dominate Stamina-Types because despite their very impressive Stamina, they are usually very light-weight and thus, easy to knock-out. Despite this, Defense-Types are made to hold-down Attack-Types and prevent them from knock-outs but it does not always work. If, however, a balance type, or destabilizer goes up against an Attack-type, the outcome is ''almost'' completely unpredictable. That of course depends on your combination of parts in mentioned earlier types of beys. What is meant by 'almost' is that it ''can ''be predicted, however, this shouldn't have an accurate consistency.

Attack is one of three main Types of Beyblades in the Beyblade hobby. Attack-Types are known for their quick speed, hard-hitting attacks, as well as having a rather poor Stamina. In the anime, the main protagonists, Tyson Granger, Gingka Hagane, Zyro Kurogane, Masamune Kadoya and the former antagonists Ryuga and Sakyo Kurayami are always known for using Attack-Types and put all of their power into one.

Please note that almost ANY Energy ring will work, so, no sweat on the suggestions for the Energy rings below.

If, however, a balance type, or destabilizer goes up against an Attack-type, the outcome is almost completely unpredictable. That of course depends on your combination of parts in mentioned earlier types of beys. What is meant by 'almost' is that it can be predicted, however, this shouldn't have an accurate consistency.

Attack is also one of the most popular Types in the metagame, but because Defense-Types are built as counters to them and because of their very bad Stamina, they are not usually seen as much in tournaments, as Defense and Stamina-Types are.

Attack types are the most feared of all Beyblades due to their ability to defeat all of the Beyblade types, except in a Hasbro stadium. With Hasbro's high walls, attack types are a bit of a joke.

Another disadvantage for attack types is that many of this type have deadly recoil and usually horrid stamina (Beys like Lightning L-Drago 100HF or Ray Striker D125CS are examples of the few that have superb stamina). Recoil can be lowered by using a Metal Face Bolt (preferably, a Metal Face 2 with the heavy combination).
