Beyblade Wiki

Bashara Suiro, known as Basara Suiryu (翠竜バサラ, Suiryū Basara) in Japan, is a character appearing in the anime/manga series, Beyblade Burst QuadDrive. He initially fought with his Lightning Beyblade, Demise Spellscraper Metal Fusion 2B, which he replaced with his own Quad Beyblade, Roar Balkesh Giga Moment-10. He is the son of Moné Suiro and the older brother of Hanna Suiro.

Bashara is an average-sized boy with orange-red eyes, pale skin and chin-length evenly cut pale blue hair. His attire consists of a dark-green jacket with violet markings, a violet Beyblade symbol on the breast pocket, a white stripe down the middle, and seven golden buttons, a pair of white shorts with a turquoise stripe on each side, a pair of jungle-green boots with crimson ankle cuffs and a yellow line going down the inner sides, and a green glove with a black cuff on his right hand.

After the Dynamite Battle Tour and joining Rashad Goodman, Bashara altered his attire. He began wearing a teal coat with details from his previous jacket and a light-green dress shirt with a cyan tie, light-brown pants, and boots similar to his previous attire except with alterations: the crimson ankle cuffs are now cyan.

Bashara is a high-spirited boy who loves intense Beybattles. He is calm-minded and excitable at the same time. He is also a Beyblade genius and a good Beyblade strategist.

Bashara has a strong insight and will to win and strongly believes in his bey. He believes he can defeat anyone especially Bel, which was proven when he beat him in episodes 8 and 17.

As a good Beyblade strategist, Bashara develops new ideas to counter an opposing beyblade. He develops a strategy before or during battle and can sometimes share his strategies to someone.

Bashara also has a tendency to be easily frightened and to get caught in Bel's pranks. This is shown mostly when he first entered Phantom's Gate in the beginning of the season, after being startled by a jack-in-the-box in episode 6, when Bel's team enter their family house dressed as zombies in episode 18, and Bel's other pranks.

Bashara's most notable character trait is his willingness to do anything in order to get stronger. This is further evidenced by throwing Demise Spellscraper away and joining Rashad Goodman just to become as strong as or stronger than Bel, leaving Bel's group in the process.

Launch Styles

  • Lightning Launch: When a Blader has achieved complete synchronization with his Beyblade, the Launcher will illuminate and sparkle, granting the bey a temporary increase in speed and power.

Special Moves

  • Ringing Crash: Utilizing the Moment Driver, Balkesh can alter its course at great speed and ram into the opposing Beyblade with full force.
  • Double Windmill: As they charge and collide toward one another, Balkesh and Ifritor build up speed as their Blades grind against each other while rotating in their respective spin directions, creating two barriers that rotate against one another to deflect the opposing Beyblades' attacks.

Bel Daizora

Basara first met Bel during exploring his haunted house he lives in. In the first episode, they battled each other, and Bashara lost. He then spectates the match between Lui and Bel. Amazed by his power, he now constantly visits Bel. He is Bashara's main inspiration to become stronger and the reason why he left Japan to join Rashad.

Rashad Goodman

In the seventh episode, Bashara felt like being left behind after witnessing Bel lose against Valt. Reflecting with everything he had been through since his encounter with Bel, he accidentally dropped Demise Spellscraper, to which Rashad thought he was going to throw it away. Bashara insisted he wouldn't do a thing like that since he and Spellscraper have been blading partners for so long, but Rashad told him to throw Spellscraper away in order to get stronger. Rashad even gave him access to BC Sol's workshop, to where Bashara creates Roar Balkesh. After losing his battles in the Dynamite Battle Tour, Bashara asked Rashad to become his training partner since he wants to become as strong or stronger than Bel and the fact that Bel does not need anyone else. He even thanked Rashad since he is the reason he created Roar Balkesh. Rashad became the reason to how Bashara became stronger than before. This is evidently shown in the World Youth Challenge where he ended up winning second place.

  • "Just how much stronger will you become, Bel?" - Bashara thinking about Bel
  • "Will I ever be able to catch up to him?" - Bashara thinking about Bel
  • "It's silly but my dream was to win against Bel. It's impossible now." - Bashara telling Rashad about his dream
  • "All this time, I've always battled with Demise Spellscraper!"
