Beast Behemoth Heavy Hold (ビーストベヒーモス・ヘビー・ホールド, Bīsuto Behīmosu Hebī Hōrudo) is an Attack Type Beyblade released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System as well as the Dual Layer System. It was released as a Booster in Japan on November 12th, 2016 for 972円.

Energy Layer - Beast Behemoth[]

Takara Tomy's Beast Behemoth is an overall round Energy Layer, the center of the Layer depicts a beast, like the Layer's namesake, biting down on the circle where the "B" of the Layer resides.

Consisting of a colored bottom layer made up of two jaw like arches and a clear top layer consisting of five, widely spaced blades creating a pinwheel-esque look, the "jaws" and ends of the clear blades of the Layer are covered in small serrations like teeth. While these features may imply that this Layer has a lot or recoil, the height of the Layer means that typically both layers come into contact with the opposing Beyblade and fill in each other's gaps and the slight serrations are too small to cause any noticeable recoil and subsequent Stamina loss.

Beast Behemoth also features three tall teeth akin to Victory Valkyrie, allowing it to be used in Defense Combinations with its moderately low recoil.

Forge Disc - Heavy[]

Main article: Forge Disc - Heavy

Heavy is a primarily circular Forge Disc, sporting a ring-like shape with numerous ridges on its interior that is interrupted by four rectangular protrusions designed to look like armored plates. As its name suggests, Heavy was the heaviest Forge Disc in the Burst System for a considerable period of time, until Gravity, which also weighs 21.6 grams, and Quarter, which weighs 21.8 grams were released. Despite this, Heavy is still one of the heaviest Forge Discs in the game, making it a popular choice for many Bladers. As its weight is a welcome asset to nearly any Beyblade, it enjoys a wide variety of uses on Combinations of all types. Heavy's high weight and compact shape gives it a Centralized Weight Distribution (CWD), making it particularly useful for Burst Attack as it will maximize the RPM of the Beyblade. This same weight distribution also makes it considerably more difficult to Burst than Gravity, the other disc in its weight class, at the cost of a significant amount of Stamina. Because of this, it is a better option for a Knock-Out Defense Combination than Gravity as Knock-Out Defense Combinations rely on high friction and weight to remain in the stadium, at the same time increasing their vulnerability to Bursting. However, due to its weight, Heavy is still more prone to Bursting than most lighter competitive Forge Discs such as Spread, Knuckle, and Armed.

Performance Tip - Hold[]

DriverHold
Main article: Performance Tip - Hold

Hold features a wide free-rotating flat tip surrounded by a textured ring. Due to the wide surface area, Hold is one of the most aggressive and fastest Performance Tips. While this level of speed implies that a Hold Combination would launch itself out of the stadium, the friction given by the textured ring allows it to stay on the Tornado Ridge. Furthermore, the free-rotating flat tip mitigates its speed to more controllable levels and provides stability, preventing a Hold Combination from tipping over.

Due to the wide shape of the tip, it is incredibly difficult to maintain a banking pattern; however, Hold can be used as a counter against Tornado Staller and Mobile Stamina Combinations as its speed can outpace most of the common Performance Tip choices such as Accel', Zephyr' and Trans'. However, Hold itself cannot be used for a Tornado Staller Combination, as its Stamina is too low to be feasible.

The speed of Hold can vary as some copies will rotate more freely than others: the more the tip rotates, the less speed and more Stamina it has, which makes it easier to control. Such copies of Hold will not catch on the Tornado Ridge but will instead circle around the center slowly. Once contact has been made with the opponent, the force of impact will make the textured ring contact the stadium, creating sudden bursts of acceleration.

Due to these factors, Hold does not perform well in Attack Combinations and performs best in Spin-Equalization Combinations. The free-rotating nature and textured ring of Hold allows for excellent Spin-Equalization potential while also granting the Precession and Life-After-Death (LAD) needed to win such matchups.
