Bel Daizora, known as Bell Daikokuten (大黒天ベル, Daikokuten Beru) in Japan, is the main protagonist of the anime/manga series, Beyblade Burst QuadDrive. He is known as the Demon King (魔王, Maō) and fights with his Beyblade, Destruction Belfyre Nexus Venture-2.
Appearance
Bel is a short boy with a multi-color hair: a red Mohawk and dark-purple hair with magenta rhombus highlights, pale skin, turquoise eyes, and black eyeliner. His attire consists of a gray shirt with a right long sleeve that sports a black cuff, the left sleeve is rolled up to the shoulder and a magenta cat-style skull, a black Dracula-style cape with a red interior, a brown belt with a gold buckle, dark-gray pants with a black strap on each leg, azure and yellow striped long socks, white boots with crimson soles, an azure band around his left bicep, and a fingerless black-cuffed maroon glove on his left hand.
Personality
Bel is a boy who lives up to his name. He is extremely proud, intimidating, mischievous, and has a strong desire for victory.
Prior during the beginning of the season, Bel is shown to be more intimidating whenever he encounters a new blader coming in to challenge him. He is very proud of himself and can already tell victory even before the start of a battle.
Bel hates losing and always strives for victory. Although he lost some of his battles, he declares every defeat as a ‘preparation for victory’. He can also be upset when he lost multiple times, mostly seen when he is walking down in Spain in dismay after his defeat from Basara in episode 8.
Bel also respects strong bladers, mostly those whom he know, like Valt, Free, Shu, etc, still with a drive to defeat them. They mostly became his inspirations in upgrading Belfyre even further.
Bel also sports his mischievous side mostly when someone enters the Phantom's Gate, or when he feels like it. More of his pranks are shown during the Japanese ending credits.
Bel has a tendency to do whatever he pleases, even disobeying the rules. This is shown during episode 11, where he ran off to challenge Free despite the latter is about to battle Rashad, to which he decided to cancel. He even tried to do the same after being amazed by Lui's Guilty Longinus, only to be rebuffed.
Like Valt, Aiger, Dante, Hyuga and Hikaru, Bel also has a strong resonance with his bey, notably by talking to his bey and sensing Belfyre through telepathy.
