The Dragon's Punishment (ドラゴンの制裁 Doragon no seisai") is the fourty-second episode of the Beyblade: Metal Fusion and the fourty-second episode of the Metal Saga overall.
Plot
The first round of Battle Bladers is now over. Blader DJ annoucnes the match ups for the second round which are Kenta Yumiya vs Benkei Hanawa, Tsubasa Otori vs Ryutaro Fukami, Gingka Hagane vs Reiji Mizuchi and then Ryuga who just beat Hikaru Hasama with over whleeming power will battle Kyoya Tategami. He then announces that the staduims must be reparied befoore the battle begins. After losing the battle with Gingka Hagane in the first round of Battle Bladers, Yu Tendo complains to Doji that the battle had ended without any fun. Doji says that all who have lost in the first round must make up for it and that the same goes for Yu as well. The losers in the first round must battle Ryuga and give him more power. Yu says that Ryuga was his friend and he wouldn't do such a thing. Meanwhile, Ryuga is battling with Tetsuya, Tobio and others who had lost. He wins it and gets more power by absorbing the other Bey's energy. Doji says that if Yu wins a battle with Reiji, he can be free from Dark Nebula. Yu agrees and battles. He uses a lot of attacking moves but they don't seem to have any effect on Poison Serpent. He slowly loses all his stamina and Poison Serpent grinds the fusion wheel of Libra. Ryuga comes at the top floor and watches the battle. Yu turns to Ryuga for help, but Ryuga turns away. Yu thinks of Gingka and then uses all of his power for one last finishing move there's a huge explosion.
