Our Slogan Is "Numbur 1" (合言葉はNO.1, Aikotoba wa NO.1; English "Our Slogan Is "Number 1"") is the 35th episode of Beyblade: Metal Masters and the 86th episode of the Metal Saga.
Synopsis[]
Masamune meets up with Toby and they take a look back at the past to when they first met. Back then Masamune had just arrived from Japan and was looking for a Bey-battle but nobody was available. Masamune found a Bey-gym and went in meeting Zeo and Toby and also joined the gym. Zeo told both Masamune and Toby about a new Bey-park opening up and to meet him there the next day. Zeo and Masamune both meet there but Toby was late, right before they start a battle with Bladers from Team Gold-Bank and they are challenged to a battle. Vince faced Masamune and when Masamune seemed to become a threat to him the other two join in to try and destroy Masamune's Ray Striker D125CS. Zeo joins in to save Masamune but was blown away in one hit, Toby arrives and stops the battle and tells Team Gold-Bank to really battle them at the local tournament. Both teams made it to the finals and Masamune and Vince were facing-off, Masamune thought that there was no hope but when Toby reminded him they had to become #1 he miraculously defeated Vince. Masamune tells Toby to cheer for who ever he wants and challenge the winner so they can decide who is number 1. Gingka and the others find Masamune while wondering why Zeo joined HD Academy and became so strong.
