Beyblade Battle: Holy Dragon Legend (ベイブレード大戦聖龍伝, Beiburēdo Taisen Sei Ryū Den) is a special two-volume manga produced in 2002 targeted at a female audience.
Summary
The manga served as a companion manga series to the original Bakuten Shoot Beyblade manga, targeted towards a female audience. It features themes, tropes and stylization closer to Shōjo manga rather than the original Shōnen style of the original manga. While the series is marketed towards a female audience, much of the main cast is still male, with Asuka Otori being the sole female member of the main cast. The overall setting of the manga revolves around the cast's elementary school setting, rather than the tournament setting of the Bakuten Shoot Beyblade manga.
The Bit-Beasts have the ability to talk to their bladers. Each chapter is given the title "Battle" followed by a number and the subject of the chapter's battle.

Trivia
- The surnames of the main cast have Kanji that allude to their Bit-Beasts; for example, the Kanji for "鳳 means "phoenix" while "竜" means "dragon", "虎" means tiger and "龟" turtle.
- Of the All Starz Bit-Beasts, only Trypio appears. From the White Tigers Galux is missing, Falborg does not appear from the Demolition Boys, and only Robert and Johnny's Bit-Beasts from the Majestics appear. No non-major Bit-Beasts appear except Nightmare Dragoon.
- Nightmare Dragoon from the Beyblade Fighting Tournament game makes its only appearance in manga form and acts as the final boss of the manga. Nightmare Dragon was a "Nightmare" variant on the Dragoon series and resembled a giant bundle of knotted dragons that came from a single body. Each dragon had a head with a set of wings. The version that appears in the manga is much more sinister looking then its previous incarnation. It appeared in the game alongside Nightmare Dranzer, Nightmare Driger and Nightmare Draciel.
- Asuka's outfit is changed from the serialization to the compiled volumes - she is given tights under her skirt, and some panels have increased the length of her skirt.

Trivia
- The Japanese title is a pun; "聖龍", meaning "Holy/Saint Dragon", is pronounced "Seiryū", the same as "青竜", the Azure Dragon represented by Dragoon.
