Beyblade Burst (ベイブレードバースト, Beiburēdo bāsuto) is the first season of the Burst series, and the eighth season of Beyblade overall. The series is currently in production and began airing on TV Tokyo on April 4, 2016.

The series is also available on Amazon Instant Video and U-NEXT in Japan.

Summary

Valt Aoi is a cheerful boy in the 5th Grade. Crazy about Beyblade, he works hard to better himself at Beyblade with the partner Bey, Valkyrie.

Valt's close friend Shu Kurenai, who is regarded as a Beyblade genius, is a participant in the National Tournament and is called one of the "Four Kings" due to his high influence within the tournament. Valt, who is inspired by Shu, sets his aim towards the National Tournament!

  • This anime naming system is very similar to Kuroko's Basketball naming system, which both have some color kanji.
  • Tatsuyuki Kobayashi, a singer who has sung "Burst Finish!", is also part of D-selection that sung "BLOODRED", opening theme for Hundred anime series, which Hundred is also aired at same season as this Beyblade anime series.
