Challenge of Kerbeus, Stalwart Guard Dog (堅守の番犬，ケルベウスの挑戦, Kenshū no Banken, Kerubeusu no Chōsen; Challenge of Kerbeus, Stalwart Guard Dog) is the second chapter of the Beyblade Burst manga. It was first released in the September 2015 issue of CoroCoro on August 12th, 2015, and was later released in Volume 1 of the Tankobon on December 28th, 2015.

- Ken's puppets, Keru and Besu, and his Beyblade, Kerbeus, also make their debuts.
- Following the battle with Rantaro, Valt becomes popular at school and let's the fame get to his head. When Shu discovers this, he tells Valt that he will not be able to win if he continues this.
- Valt and Ken face off in the District Tournament's second round, with the former winning.
