"Super Special Training to Control a Super Awakened Buddy!" (激特訓！超進化の相棒を制御せよ！！, Geki Tokkun! Chō Shinka no Aibō o Seigyo Seyo!!; Super Special Training! Control a Super Awakened Buddy!!) is the forty-second chapter of the Beyblade Burst manga. It was first released in the February 2018 issue of Bessatsu CoroCoro on December 28th, 2017 and was later released in Volume 9 of the Tankobon on April 27th, 2018.

- It is revealed before the World Championship finals, Valt had upgraded Strike Genesis Valtryek, now adding the Gold Ver. Strike God Chip and the Ultimate Reboot Driver.
- With help from Silas and later Rantaro, Valt undergoes training to help master his new setup.
- Free gives Valt some advice and tells him that he can defeat Shu if he converts his love for Beys into power.
