"Graveyard of Beys! Phantom's Gate!" (ベイの墓場！魔界の門！！, Bei no hakaba! Makai no mon!!; Graveyard of Beys! The Gates of Hell!) is the third episode of the Beyblade Burst Dynamite Battle anime. It first aired on April 9th, 2021 in Japan.
"Sturm und Drang! Cyclone Ragnaruk!" (疾風怒涛！サイクロンラグナルク!!, Shippudotō! Saikuron Ragunaruku!!) is the fourth episode of the Beyblade Burst Dynamite Battle anime. It first aired on April 16th, 2021 in Japan.
Both episodes later aired as the second episode of the Beyblade Burst QuadDrive anime titled "Graveyard of Beys! Phantom's Gate!" on December 5th, 2021 in America and on January 23rd, 2022 in Canada.
Episode Descriptions[]
Part 1: After hearing of Bel's power, new challenger Ranzo Kiyama, who tore through the South American league, travels to Japan to face him in battle.
Part 2: Ranzo declares he won't return home until he has defeated Bel. Bel's grandfather Jinemon leads the determined Ranzo to a workshop to reforge his Bey.
Overall: Reeling from his loss to Bel, Bashara is determined to get stronger and battle the Dark Prince one more time. But Ranzo Kiyama, an energetic Blader from Brazil, arrives on the scene with a similar goal in mind. Despite their differences, Bashara and Ranzo team up and make their way to Phantom’s Gate to challenge the Dark Prince.
Plot[]
Part 1[]
The episode begins with Ranzo Kiyama arriving in Japan, excited to begin his adventure in the birthplace of Beyblade. The scene then switches to Bashara and Hanna, in which the latter is trying to encourage the former to give up on having a rematch with Bel, knowing he's going to lose once again. Bashara ignores Hanna's request and sets out to Phantom's Gate. Two children are then found at the park, roleplaying the battle between Bel and Lui, which is then interrupted by Ranzo. On the way to Phantom's Gate, Hanna witnesses Ranzo trying to teach the kids his "signature pose" and stops him. While Ranzo is distracted, the kids run away. Hanna apologizes and Bashara finds her and recognizes Ranzo, who also recognizes him from his battle with Bel. Ranzo tries to encourage Bashara, claims him to be his new best friend, and asks to go to Phantom's Gate with him.
At Phantom's Gate, Jinemon treats Bel to his "Egg-cellent Omelet Surprise". As Bel enjoys his breakfast, Bashara, Hanna, and Ranzo arrive at the mansion. While walking through the hallways, Bashara reveals that Ranzo is a top-ranked Blader from South America. Ranzo overhears Bashara and begins bragging about himself, continuing to claim the siblings as his new best friends. The three are soon interrupted by Bel, who begins chasing them down the halls with skeletons.
Bashara, Hanna, and Ranzo get away from the skeletons and arrive at the mansion's battle room. They are soon greeted by Bel, who is then interrupted by Ranzo wanting to challenge him with his Glide Roktavor. The battle begins streaming across the world and Ranzo is recognized by Valt and Free, who was revealed to be the Brazilian cousin of Rantaro and Ranjiro Kiyama. The battle begins with Ranzo and Roktavor's Roaring Tornado, which is then followed by Super Tornado to keep Belfyre away. The move is then broken by Belfyre's Daring Launch and the two Beys begin attacking each other. Bel begins resonating with Belfyre and the duo use their Destruction Wrecker, resulting in Belfyre accidentally shattering Glide Roktavor. Knowing what he had done, Bel claims that Ranzo wasn't weak and instead, Roktavor was destroyed due to Belfyre being too strong, concluding the first half of the episode.
Part 2[]
Continuing off from the first half of the episode, Ranzo wants revenge for his Roktavor and tells Bel that he won't return home until he wins, and so the latter says he won't. After seeing what had went down, Bashara tells Hanna that they were returning home, knowing that it wasn't the time to have his rematch. The scene changes to Valt and Free where they talk about the battle knowing that Roktavor's destruction wasn't on purpose.
Later that day, Ranzo is greeted by Jinemon, who offers to let Ranzo use the workshop to reforge Roktavor. Once they arrive, Ranzo finds a blueprint of Destruction Belfyre and the Quad System, where it was revealed that Bel made it on his own in the exact same room. The scene changes to Hanna telling Bashara about the comments on the battle between Bel and Ranzo, with the viewers now believing that Bel had gone too far. As Hanna talks, Bashara resonates with Spellscraper and wonders about the secrets of Bel's abilities. After snapping back to reality, Bashara decides to go for a run, in which he decides to return to Phantom's Gate.
Bel finds Ranzo in the workshop and realizes that he was evolving Roktavor. As Bel starts giving him tips, Ranzo tells him that he'll have nothing to do with Roktavor's evolution, leading into an argument which gives Ranzo the idea of turning Roktavor into a Quad Bey. Bashara arrives at the mansion and finds the two working on Roktavor. The Giga Disc is created and stolen by Bel, who begins examining it. As Bashara enters the room, Ranzo pushes Bel up against the former to stuff a cookie in his mouth, in which Jinemon is seen watching the trio, pleased by the friendship they are creating. As the 3D printer continues working on Roktavor, Bel and Ranzo fall asleep and Jinemon puts a blanket over them. Then the scene changes to Bashara, who is in bed staring at Spellscraper and wondering on how Roktavor will turn out.
Morning arrives and Bashara heads to Phantom's Gate. After Bashara arrives, the Never Driver is completed, making it the last touch to Ranzo's new Quad Bey, Cyclone Roktavor. Now that his Bey has been completed, Ranzo challenges Bel to a rematch. As the stream begins, Hanna goes to wake Bashara up and finds out that he was already gone, in which she discovers that he was already at Phantom's Gate. Valt and Free also tune into the stream.
Bel and Ranzo keep their Beys in Low Mode, in which the term catches the attention of Hanami. The battle begins and Roktavor takes the center to stand its ground as Belfyre begins attacking with Daring Launch, in which it is finally moved from the center, but soon knocks Belfyre away. Ranzo begins resonating with Roktavor and they activate their technique, Double Winged Cyclone, which sends Belfyre flying out with a Ring-Out Finish and giving Ranzo the first point, concluding the episode.
