"Wild Dash! Battle Marathon!" (爆裂激走！ バトルマラソン！！, Bakuretsu Gekisō! Batoru Marason!!; Explosive Dash! Battle Marathon!!) is the sixteenth episode of the Beyblade Burst QuadStrike anime. It first aired on July 15th, 2023 in America, and later aired on July 30th, 2023 in Canada.
Episode Description
The Champion’s Challenge Tournament keeps on spinning, but one important face is missing: the Dark Prince is nowhere to be seen! Wakiya has officially disqualified Bel with absolutely no hope of ever, ever, ever re-entering. Ever. But with the crowd, Hanami, and even a few Blading legends calling for his return, Bel might just have a shot!
Plot
Major Events
- After the first day of the Champion's Challenge Tournament at its opening celebration feast, Wakiya reveals the top 3 Bladers, with Kit ranking first, Ranzo ranking second, and Pri ranking third. After discovering he wasn't in the top 3, Bel confronts Wakiya, only to find out that he was serious about being disqualified.
- The Tournament's second day consists of the Battle Marathon, where the competitors race around the Surging Arena and take on multiple obstacles and battle opponents of similar rankings.
- After popular demand, Wakiya decides to let Bel go back into the tournament, with Valt and Aiger joining the race after Bel.
- Valt challenges Pri and wins.
- Aiger challenges Ranzo and wins.
- For Bel's battle, he faces off with Kit, but is defeated.
- At the end of the second day, Wakiya announces the tournament's current top 3 Bladers and the one's that will move onto the final tournament, with Kit still ranking first, Bel ranking second, and Pri ranking third.
- At the end of the episode, Valt gets a call from Shu.
