Both episodes later aired as the fifth episode of the Beyblade Burst Surge anime titled "Illusory Dragon! Mirage Fafnir!" on March 13th, 2021 in America and on April 18th, 2021 in Canada.
Episode Description[]
Still recovering from their loss to Free De La Hoya, Hikaru and Hyuga decide to follow the Blading Legend’s own training regimen to learn the secrets behind his success. Even though they struggle to keep up, Free challenges them both to a one-on-one battle each to see what they’ve learned. This time, the Hizashi brothers aren’t holding anything back!

- Hikaru and Hyuga train with Free.
- The first part is meditation, which Hikaru is able to do easily. Hyuga, on the other hand, falls asleep.
- The second part is swinging from vines over a pond. Hikaru and Hyuga swing, but when they try to grab the vine, they fall into the pond and come back up immediately.
- Hikaru saves Hyuga from falling when the latter's vine gets ripped.
- Hikaru and Hyuga challenge Free, and Free accepts to battle both of them, but wants to battle Hikaru first and wins.
- Free reveals Mirage Fafnir's counter mode.
- Hyuga battles Free, and the latter wins with a slow- motion burst.
- After Free immediately defeats Hyuga, Rantaro convinces Free to battle Hyuga one more time, to which Free accepts.
- In his second battle with Hyuga, Free has a vision of the rookie blader he faced off with, gets serious, and wins.
- Hyuga meets Hyperion for the first time.

- When Rantaro tries to convince Free to have a rematch with Hyuga, Valt's cheek tattoo is missing. Later, after Hyuga reveals that he met Hyperion, Valt's tattoo is on his right cheek instead of his left cheek.
- Before using Mirage Claw on Hyperion, Fafnir appears in it's counter mode, although it was in absorption mode for the entire battle.
- In the English credits for the full 22 minute episode, Free's name is misspelled as "Free dela Hoya".
