Both episodes later aired as the ninth episode of the Beyblade Burst Surge anime titled "Is This a Dream?! Or Is It a Nightmare?!" on April 10th, 2021 in America and on May 16th, 2021 in Canada.
Episode Description[]
The results are in, and the final participants of the Legend Festival have been decided! Hikaru’s ranked battle history has earned him a shot against the rest of the Blading Legends, but what about Hyuga? While everyone’s prepping for the festival, another hyperactive Blader rises up to challenge Hikaru and Hyuga!

- In the flashback battle between Hyuga and Lain, Lain uses Shu's launcher, although Shu didn't give Lain his launcher until the second round of his battle with Lui.
- When Uranus bursts a Judgement Joker, the Joker's Blitz Disc was attached to the Layer.
Trivia[]
- This is the first instance in the Beyblade Burst series where a Beyblade is upgraded into an entirely different one.
- It is rather interesting to note that Lain's situation of becoming greedy for power is the exact opposite of Shu's. However, they are very similar since they both involved battling Free:
- In Shu's case, his power spree started after losing to Free.
- In Lain's case, his power spree started after winning against Free.
- In the English version of the episode, Hyuga and Noboru's faces glow red when they are eating, but in the Japanese version, their faces completely turn red.
- In the manga, the battle between Free and Lain happened in the present instead of in a flashback like it did in the anime. Free had also created Mirage Fafnir before the battle in the manga, while in the anime, Free created Mirage Fafnir after his loss to Lain and Uranus.
