Clash at the Top (Part 3) (頂上決戦(3), Chōjō Kessen (3); Battle at the Top (Part 3)) is the fifteenth chapter of the Beyblade X manga. It was first released in the September 2024 issue of CoroCoro Comic on August 9th, 2024 and was later released in Volume 4 of the Tankobon on October 28th, 2024.
Plot[]
Major Events[]
- It is revealed that the battle between Buster Dran and Cobalt Dragoon ends in the draw. However, Buster Dran has cracked in the process.
- It is revealed that Khrome performed an Xtreme Dash technique that uses the full rotation of the Xtreme Line, which is called "Dragonic Break".
- Khrome requested Jaxon to switch the damaged Buster Dran out for Dagger Dran.
- A flashback reveals that on the day Jaxon left, Jaxon thought Khrome was going easy on him, leading to Khrome resented him.
- Jaxon and Khrome continue their face-off in the second round, with both Beys performing Xtreme Dash Infinite and ending in a second draw.
- It is revealed that Khrome is deliberately adapting Blader X's tactics to show the difference in their abilities.
- Dagger Dran has also cracked in the process.
- Khrome requested Jaxon to switch the damaged Dagger Dran out for Sword Dran.
- Jaxon and Khrome end their face-off in the third round, with the former winning by using Khrome's "Dragonic Break" technique against him. Khrome also subsequently fainted from the match.
- It is revealed that the identity of Blader Z is Ciel Kaminari, who now wishes to avenge Khrome by defeating Blader X.
- Robin and Ciel face off in the third match, with the later winning.
- Like Jaxon, Robin is able to use Khrome's "Dragonic Break" technique. However, his Hammer Incendio bursts right before it can end the match with an Xtreme Finish.
- Robin annouced that even though he won, he felt the battle was fun.
- Pendragon remains as the champion team on the X.
