"Pride" (プライド, Puraido; Pride) is the eighteenth episode of the Beyblade X anime. It first aired on February 9th, 2024 in Japan and later became available to stream on August 19th, 2024 in the United Kingdom and on October 15th, 2024 in America.
Episode Description
Team Phalanx's pro status is in danger thanks to their low popularity. However, once they switch to using the mysterious Feather Phoenix, they score one win after another. Now, they're climbing up The X and ready to face Team Persona once again! Can Takumi and his team keep up their winning streak?
Plot
Major Events
- As Mountain Ramen's president looks for a new Bey Team to sponsor, Takumi gets an idea to use Feather Phoenix to turn things around for Phalanx, which works successfully and helps them reach the twentieth floor of The X.
- Persona and Phalanx face off with the former team winning.
- Robin and Genri face off in the first match with the latter winning.
- Multi and Bariki face off in the second match with the former winning.
- Jaxon and Takumi face off in the third match with the former winning.
- Throughout the episode, Takumi begins to hesitate on using Feather Phoenix instead of Stone Mountain as he grew up battling with the latter for years. Jaxon takes notice of this and hints at Takumi about switching Beys. Taisho also takes notice and tells Takumi to do what he believes is right, resulting in Takumi switching to Stone Mountain.
- Angered by Takumi's decision, Mountain Ramen's president completely drops his sponsorship with Phalanx.
