"The King and the Phoenix" (王とフェニックス, Ō to Fenikkusu; King and Phoenix) is the twenty-eighth episode of the Beyblade X anime. It first aired on April 19th, 2024 in Japan and later became available to stream on October 21st, 2024 in America.
Episode Description
The Shuffle Battle Fest has finally begun! In this event previously unimagined teams clash from the very first match. What will happen to Team Persona and their newfound partners?
Plot
Major Events
- The team names for the Shuffle Battle Festival are revealed:
- Jaxon, Titus, and Taisho's team is "King and Sushi".
- Multi, Toguro, and Yuni's team is "Multi and Me".
- Blaze and Jian's team is "Strong Ones".
- Takumi, Zonamos, and Warden's team is "Top Boyz".
- Robin, Meiko, and Carlo's team is "Found Family".
- It is revealed that the champions of the All-Star Battle will get to move to the top of The X and compete in the title match against Team Pendragon.
- The third member of Team Strong Ones is revealed to be Number One.
- The Shuffle Battle Festival begins with the first match being between Teams King and Sushi and Strong Ones:
- Titus and Blaze face off in the first match with both Bladers resulting in a draw.
- Jaxon and Jian are set to face off in the second match.
- Jaxon's Buster Dran makes its debut.
