"Mask and Meat Buns" (仮面と肉まん, Kamen to Nikuman; Mask and Meat Buns) is the twenty-ninth episode of the Beyblade X anime. It first aired on April 26th, 2024 in Japan and later became available to stream on October 21st, 2024 in America.
Episode Description
The Battle between Blader X and Jian begins. Titus tells Mr. Taisho how he met the Zooganic members and what makes them strong. Against an opponent as powerful as Jian, will Jaxon be able to gather more votes in the Shuffle Battle Fest?!
Plot
Major Events
- Titus recounts meeting Toguro and Jian and forming Team Zooganic:
- Team tryouts are held for Zooganic, which Titus did not see anyone worthy of fighting alongside him, so he calls it off. Wanting to fight by his side, Toguro asks Titus to check out his launch form, which Titus makes the decision to accept Toguro into Zooganic.
- Following the tryouts, Titus and Toguro find Jian battling and losing to another Blader. Titus takes notice of Jian's launch power and approaches her, telling her that her launch was too strong for her Keel Shark and launcher and inviting her to Zooganic.
- Teams King and Sushi and Strong Ones continue their match on the Shuffle Battle Festival's first day:
- Jaxon and Jian face off in the second match with the former winning.
- Taisho and Number One face off in the third match with the former winning.
- Number One reveals Ripley, an AI launcher. Using it, Number One takes control of it to help her battle in the Festival.
- Taisho's Keel Maguro and Number One's Very Berry Cherry make their debuts.
- After the Shuffle Battle Festival's first day, Khrome and Sigrid appear with the former giving a speech and having an exhibition match with Shooter. Khrome has Number Zero code Ripley to use his launch power, which Khrome still comes out victorious.
