"XYZ" (XYZ, XYZ; XYZ) is the forty-second episode of the Beyblade X anime. It first aired on July 26th, 2024 in Japan and later aired on January 18th, 2025 in Australia.
Episode Description
Blader Z and Jaxon are in the middle of their epic showdown when Blader Z suddenly leaves. In the confusion, Jaxon vanishes too. With Blader X at large, B4 suspends Persona until the whole ‘mask scandal’ is over! While Multi takes to bed in shock, it’s up to Robin to come up with a plot to lure out these troublesome masked Bladers.
Plot
Major Events
- Blader Z's Obsidian Shell makes its debut.
- Jaxon and Blader Z face off with the latter removing the former's Sword Dran from the stadium and forfeiting the battle.
- Following the battle, both Jaxon and Blader Z disappear and continue battling Bladers all over Xenon City once again. With this, Persona's activities are suspended, leaving Multi bedridden in anger.
- Being the only member of the team who is able to do anything, Robin meets with Warden, Titus, Blaze, and Takumi to discuss a plan and decide that they need bait Jaxon into revealing himself.
- To help lure Jaxon out, Quinn holds the "Royal Queen's Cup", which not only lures out Jaxon, but also Bladers Y and Z. After they appear, Blader Y leaves, while everyone else chases down Jaxon and Blader Z. Blader Z successfully escapes, but Jaxon is caught by Robin.
- On the way home, Jaxon reveals that he has no idea who Blader Z is, but Blader Y's identity is actually Khrome Ryugu.
- Khrome reveals to Sigrid that he took on the identity of Blader Y to relive Jaxon's battles, making him believe that they are one.
