"The Most Fun Ever" (最高の遊び, Saikō no Asobi; The Best Play) is the fifty-first episode of the Beyblade X anime and the final episode of the first season. It first aired on October 4th, 2024 in Japan and later became available to stream on February 15th, 2025 in Singapore.
Episode Description
The final Battle between Persona and Pendragon has come. Blader Z hopes to avenge Khrome and removes his mask to reveal his identity: Ciel Kaminari. Robin heads into Battle, encouraged by his teammates. Ciel imagined he would crush his opponent with full force, but when things don't go as planned, he starts to have second thoughts.
Plot
Blader Z is angry about Khrome's loss and takes off his mask and reveals himself to be Ciel Kaminari. Ciel wants to fight Jaxon and he responds that he will lose to Robin(who is shaking nervously and others commenting on his). Ciel mentions his record, but says he won't go easy on him. Multi and Jaxon try to calm Robin down by saying he doesn't have to win and to just have fun. Robin chooses Hammer Incendio while Ciel chooses Obsidian Shell. Ciel tries to give Robin an advantage, but Robin refuses and wants a fair battle.
Round 1 begins and Obsidian Shell overpowers Hammer Incendio and takes 1 point with a survivor finish. Robin is unfazed by the loss and starts getting ready for the second battle.
Round 2 begins and while things look the same, Robin catches Ciel off guard and launches an Xtreme Dash Round Judgement, but still loses, giving Ciel another survivor finish. Packun comments that his move was perfect and slips that Robin came to him for advice on how to use Hammer Incendio. Rex asks why he didn't burst Obsidian Shell, to which Packun says that he's still a nobody. Quinn interrupts and tells them to pay attention to the match until the end. Robin switches to Chain Incendio for the next round.
Round 3 begins and Ciel thinks he was too slow, but Chain Incendio surprises him for a bit and launches a Chain blast. However the surprise was not enough and Ciel takes the 3rd round with another survivor finish. Myoden mentions that at his current launch power, Robin would not be able to break through Obsidian Shell's defenses. Down 3-0, Robin switches again to Scythe Incendio.
Round 4 begins and Ciel gets surprised again by Robin as he launches an Xtreme Dash mimicking Sigrid's Crescent Judgement(to the surprise of Sigrid and Multi). This was enough to take 1 point from Ciel with a Survivor finish. Ciel realizes that if manages to perfect his technique then he can truly win the battle. Robin starts getting nervous again, but Jaxon comes up and asks why he blades in the first place and that if he focuses on the pointless stuff then blading won't be fun.
Round 5 begins and Robin starts thinking why he blades and says he does it just for fun. While coming to his answer he realizes he wants to try the move done by Khrome and Jaxon, but he is unable to do it for a while. Ciel says he can't achieve it because he still a newbie, but everyone chimes in saying while he is unpolished, he has been trying his hardest throughout his losses. Robin finally manages to recreate the move(everyone cheering and excited to see) and initially was thought to be an Xtreme Finish. However, it shown in a replay that Scythe Incendio had been cracked and stopped spinning before Obsidian Shell was knocked out making Ciel the winner and Team Pendragon the reigning Champions.
Despite the loss, everyone is cheering on Robin for the battle he displayed and while apologizing to Multi and Jaxon, they see his face and ask what else he is feeling. He lifts his head up with a large smile on his face and says he had fun. Jaxon adds in that if he had fun then he won.
After the credits roll it pans to a shot of Sakura trees with a mysterious blader and the season ends.
