The Beystadium is a stadium released by Hasbro as part of the Beyblade X toyline. It was released in western countries for USD$12.99 in the United States.
Description
The Beystadium is a square "bucket" stadium with "X-Celerator Rails", a set of gears that interact with the gears on a Beyblade's Bit to activate the Xtreme Dash gimmick. Unlike Takara Tomy's Xtreme Stadium or Hasbro's Xtreme Beystadium, the X-Celerator Rails are molded onto the stadium instead of being a separate component. A third Knockout Zone has been added to one of the stadium corners, for a total of 3 Knockout Zones and 1 Xtreme Finish Zone.
The X-Celerator Rails (and the gears) of the Xtreme Stadium/Beystadium are elevated due to being a separate part; as the Beystadium has these gears molded in, they are taller, extending to the stadium floor. Consequently, Gear Bits such as Gear Flat (GF) will be able to use the Xtreme Dash more consistently, since the gears of the Bit extend to the stadium floor as well, making better contact with the X-Celerator Rails of the Beystadium. Bits with regular gears, especially Defense/Stamina Bits with more passive movement, may have difficulty using the Xtreme Dash.
Due to the additional Knockout Zone opposite to the Xtreme Finish Zone, and the smaller Battle Zone, the Beystadium heavily favors the use of Attack Type combinations, as Knockout/Xtreme Finishes are likely.
Rulings
Due to the lack of a stadium cover, Beyblades can easily exit the stadium, landing on the floor or hitting Bladers. As such, the World Beyblade Organization (WBO) does not allow the usage of the Beystadium in ranked tournaments.
