This article is about the Burst stadium. For the Metal Fight Beyblade stadium, see Beystadium Standard Type (Metal Series).

The Beystadium Standard Type (ベイスタジアム スタンダードタイプ, Beisutajiamu Sutandādo Taipu) is a Stadium released as part of the Beyblade Burst toyline. It was released in Japan on July 18th, 2015 for 1620円.

Description

The Beystadium Standard Type is the first Beystadium released by Takara Tomy for the Burst Series toyline. As its name suggests, the Beystadium Standard Type was designed as the default standard Stadium for official wbba. tournaments held by Takara Tomy. It was used for 5 years and 4 months between July 18th, 2015 and November 14th, 2020 until it was replaced with the Dash Beystadium. The Dash Beystadium itself was subsequently replaced with the Beystadium DB Standard Type on April 24th, 2021, which was used until the end of the Burst Series. Due to the increasing size of Beyblades, Takara Tomy released the aforementioned wider Beystadiums to compensate for the larger size of Superking Layer System and Dynamite Battle Layer System Beyblades.

Compared to previous generations' standard type Stadiums, the Beystadium Standard Type retains the inner ridge and 3 exit design seen with the Metal Series' BB-10 Beystadium Attack Type and the Original Series' A-93 Beystadium Attack Type (Tornado Type). A notable change introduced with this Stadium is the separation of components; Stadiums released prior were generally single piece, vacuum formed plastic pieces. The Beystadium Standard Type is separated into the Stadium floor, a cover, and clips to hold the floor together with the cover. The cover acts as the Stadium walls, and is also intended to prevent parts from exiting the Stadium when a Bey "Bursts". Due to the cover being incorporated into the design, the cardboard pieces seen during the Metal Series are omitted. However, a consequence of the cover is larger Beys may rebound off of the cover and back into the Stadium, instead of completely exiting the Stadium.
