DranzerSpiral (ドランザースパイラル, DoranzāSupairaru) is a Blade released by Takara Tomy as part of the Basic Line system. It debuted in Japan with the release of the BX-00 Booster, DranzerSpiral 3-80T, on July 15th, 2023. It later debuted in western countries with the release of Hasbro's Starter Pack, Dranzer Spiral 3-80T.

Description

Designed with a focus on Balance, it features two horizontal blades that produce high striking power and Stamina.
— Official Description

DranzerSpiral is Balance Type Blade and X-Over Project adaptation of the Dranzer Bit Chip, Double Wing Attack Ring, and Eight Balance Weight Disk that came with the Original Series' Spin Gear System Beyblade, Dranzer S. Due to the design of the system, the Blade is not customizable and is a single piece that cannot be separated. As such, its main contact points are two long blades that enable Upper Attack, based on those of the Double Wing Attack Ring. Parts resembling the Eight Balance Weight Disk act as additional contact points. The Gear Chip features the Dranzer Bit Beast, based on the original Bit Chip design.

Like other X-Over Project Blades, DranzerSpiral has polycarbonate plastic Launcher Hooks instead of metal ones. DranzerSpiral is the lightest Blade released at 27.7 grams, weighing 4 to 7 grams less than the other Blades released on the same date. The light weight allows a DranzerSpiral to move at high speeds when used with a flat tip Bit such as Flat and Rush. However, the light weight also creates very low Stamina, and less Smash Attack than other Attack Type Blades such as SharkEdge.

Overall

Despite its high speeds, the light weight of DranzerSpiral makes it outclassed by other Attack Type Blades. Furthermore, it is too light to be used in Defense and Stamina combinations.

As such, DranzerSpiral is not recommended for the WBO's X format.
