Guilty (ギルティ, Giruti) is a Blade released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System as well as the Dynamite Battle Layer System. It debuted in Japan with the release of the B-189 Booster Guilty Longinus Karma Metal Destroy-2 on September 11th, 2021.

Description

Guilty is a left-spin Attack Type Blade with four dragons on the top and two dragons on the reverse, which can make heavy metal attacks and Upper Attacks, in addition to attacks from above.
— Official Description

Takara Tomy's Guilty is a left-spin Attack Type Blade with two small blades and two large blades, and is almost identical in shape to its predecessor, the Zwei Base, albeit larger. The aggressive shape of Guilty's blades produce excellent Smash Attack, and are sloped upwards to produce Upper Attack. Guilty has the most powerful Smash Attack in the game, due to a combination of its aggressive design, wide shape, and excellent Outward Weight Distribution (OWD).

Guilty features six of the signature metal dragon heads of the Longinus line of Layers: four are located on the top of the large blades, with two on the underside. The six metal dragon heads results in a very heavy weight; Guilty is the heaviest Blade in the Dynamite Battle Layer System, at 17 grams. The heavy weight of Guilty creates high inertia which increases the Layer's Knockout (KO) and Burst Attack potential.

The heavy weight of Guilty requires Attack Type Drivers with rubber flat tips, which have higher speeds than plastic-tipped Drivers. Furthermore, as a result of its aggressive design, Guilty also has significant recoil. As such, Drivers such as Xtreme' and Quick' are recommended, as they have controllable movement patterns that help control Guilty's recoil. However, in wide stadiums such as the Beystadium DB Standard Type, traditional Attack Type Drivers are weaker as the chance of knocking out opponents is reduced. Thus, Drivers with high Stamina and Life-After-Death (LAD), such as Metal Universe and Zone'+Z, are recommended.

As a result of its high performance, Guilty has remained a staple of the meta since its release, and is the strongest left-spin Attack Type Layer in the game.

Overall

Guilty's excellent Attack capabilities make it a staple Blade in the format. It is recommended to pair Guilty with a heavy DB Core like Longinus, as well as the Xtreme' and Quick' Drivers. The Fortress DB Disc is also recommended, as its shape of lines up well with Guilty's weight distribution.

As such, Takara Tomy's Guilty is a must-have for the WBO's Burst format.
