ImpactDrake (インパクトドレイク, InpakutoDoreiku) is a Blade released by Takara Tomy as part of the Unique Line system. It debuted in Japan with the release of the UX-11 Starter, ImpactDrake 9-60LR, on December 28th, 2024. It later debuted in western countries with the release of Hasbro's Drop Attack Battle Set.

Description

ImpactDrake is an Attack Type Blade with four blades acting as the main contact points. The Gear Chip features the side profile of the Blue Dragon (Seiryū), one of the Four Auspicious Beasts from Chinese mythology. Like the other Team Pendragon Beyblades, the Gear Chip has the Bakuten Shoot Beyblade logo, in this case being on the dragon's neck.

As part of the Unique Line, ImpactDrake has rubber Launcher Hooks instead of metal ones, which increase Outward Weight Distribution (OWD). In addition, it features an Unique Line gimmick: each of the four blades have rubber dragon heads. The 4 primary contact points are located where the end of the rubber dragon heads meet the metal portion of the blades.

At the time of its release, ImpactDrake was the heaviest Blade available, weighing 39 grams on average. The aggressive shape of the jagged contact points creates extremely high Burst Attack and Knockout (KO) Attack. However, these contact points will wear down with use, with the metal denting in a manner similar to the wear issues of the DranSword Blade. The rubber dragon heads will also dent and chip, increasing contact with the metal portion of the blades. It is thus recommended to have several copies of ImpactDrake for competitive usage.

Overall

ImpactDrake's heavy weight and excellent Burst/Smash Attack makes it one of the strongest Attack Type Blades, in terms of raw attacking strength.

As such, ImpactDrake is a must-have for the WBO's X format.
