Optimus Prime (オプティマスプライム, Oputimasu Puraimu) is a Blade released by Hasbro as part of the Basic Line system. It debuted in western countries with the release of the Optimus Prime and Megatron Multipack Set. It later debuted with in Japan with the release of Takara Tomy's BX-00 Optimus Prime and Megatron Multipack Set on May 17th, 2025.
Description
The Gear Chip features Optimus Prime, the leader of the Autobots in the Transformers franchise. The design is based on his evergreen character design, with the Gear Chip being cropped from an art asset found in the 2017 "Transformers Evergreen Character Toolkit".
The plastic components of Optimus Prime are identical to those of KnightShield (Helm Knight), and the metal component is nearly identical.
