OrochiCluster (オロチクラス, OrochiKurasuta) is a Blade released by Takara Tomy as part of the Unique Line system. It debuted in Japan with the release of the UX-00 mail order Booster, OrochiCluster 6-60LF.
Description
OrochiCluster is an Attack Type Blade with 8 protrusions as its main contact points. The Gear Chip features Yamata no Orochi, an eight-headed serpent that appears in Japanese mythology.
As part of the Unique Line, OrochiCluster has resin Launcher Hooks instead of metal ones, which increase Outward Weight Distribution (OWD). In addition, it features an Unique Line gimmick: OrochiCluster has 8 Orochi heads around its circumference, which are meant to either deliver powerful Smash Attacks or destabilise opponents with rapid "poisonous" strikes.
