Roar Tyranno or TyrannoRoar (ティラノロア, TiranoRoa)[1][2] is a Blade released by Hasbro as part of the Basic Line system. It debuted in western countries with the release of the Booster Pack, Roar Tyranno 9-60GF. It later debuted with in Japan with the release of Takara Tomy's BX-00 Spinosaurus and Quetzalcoatlus Multipack Set on July 19th, 2025.
Description
Roar Tyranno (Japanese: TyrannoRoar) is a three-sided Attack Type Blade with three main contact points. The Gear Chip features a Tyrannosaurus rex.
Roar Tyranno is a retool of PhoenixWing (Soar Phoenix), with the same plastic components, but its metal component has been modified. Compared to PhoenixWing, Roar Tyranno has fewer protrusions and a smoother shape. Although Roar Tyranno weighs about 2 grams less than PhoenixWing, the two Blades have similar performance. Roar Tyranno can be used with the same Bits that are popular with PhoenixWing, such as Point or Rush. The smoother shape creates a slight reduction in self-destructive recoil, making Roar Tyranno a better option than PhoenixWing in Stationary Attack combos, such as those using the Hexa or High Needle Bits.
Overall
Roar Tyranno's excellent Attack capabilities make it a great alternative to PhoenixWing, and also as a second Blade option in decks (for the 3on3 Battle and Deck Battle battle formats).
As such, Roar Tyranno is a must-have for the WBO's X format.
