Stone is a Blade released by Hasbro as part of the Burst System as well as the QuadDrive System. It debuted in western countries with the release of the Destruction Ifritor I7 & Stone Nemesis N7 Dual Pack.
Description
Hasbro's Stone is an elliptical right-spin Attack Type QD Blade with two contact points at opposite ends of the QD Blade. Like other QD Blades, Stone can switch between Apex and Core Modes by swapping the position of the Gravity Ring from the top of the Blade (Apex) to below it (Core).
Like its predecessor Twin Nemesis, the elliptical design creates high recoil and Self-Burst risk. However, while its predecessor has high Burst Resistance to mitigate the Self-Burst risk, there are currently no Drive Chips available with high Burst Resistance. Furthermore, the light weight of QD Blades means QuadDrive System Layers such as Stone are even more prone to Bursts.
