This article is about the Hasbro version. For the Takara Tomy version, see Blade - Vanish (Takara Tomy).

Vanish is a Blade released by Hasbro as part of the Burst System as well as the QuadDrive System. It debuted in western countries with the release of the QuadDrive Starter Pack, Vanish Fafnir F7 Tapered-Q Xtend+-Q+Kick-3.

Description

Hasbro's Vanish is a round left-spin Stamina Type QD Blade based on the Takara Tomy Blade of the same name. Its general shape is similar to its Takara Tomy counterpart, with three dragon heads akin to its predecessors in the Fafnir Energy Layer line. The most notable difference between Hasbro's Vanish and Takara Tomy's is the lack of rubber. The original Takara Tomy Vanish consisted primarily of rubber to increase Spin Steal capabilities, along with plastic dragon heads. However, Hasbro's Vanish is a single plastic piece, with the dragon heads being painted on. While Vanish retains the holes of its Takara Tomy counterpart, the lack of rubber means the flexible blade gimmick does not work, instead acting as a point of breakage. Like other QD Blades, Vanish can switch between Apex and Core Modes by swapping the position of the Gravity Ring from the top of the Blade (Apex) to below it (Core).

Overall

Hasbro's Vanish is too light to be competitive in the current metagame.

As such, Hasbro's Vanish is recommended for collection purposes only.

Hasbro's Vanish is heavily outclassed by other Energy Layers for Stamina Combinations in this format.

As such, Hasbro's Vanish is recommended for collection purposes only.

Hasbro's Vanish is not legal in the WBO's Burst Classic Format.

As such, Hasbro's Vanish is recommended for collection purposes only.
