WizardRod (ウィザードロッド, WizādoRoddo) is a Blade released by Takara Tomy as part of the Unique Line system. It debuted in Japan with the release of the UX-03 Booster, WizardRod 5-70DB, on March 30th, 2024. It later debuted in western countries as Wand Wizard with the release of Hasbro's Starter Pack, Wand Wizard 5-70DB.

WizardRod is a Stamina Type Blade with a wide circular shape. The Gear Chip features a fantasy wizard casting a spell. Its name refers to a wizard's rod.

As part of the Unique Line, WizardRod has resin Launcher Hooks instead of metal ones, which increase Outward Weight Distribution (OWD). In addition, it features an Unique Line gimmick: WizardRod has a wider diameter than previously released Blades, increasing Stamina performance.

Rulings

WizardRod was one of six "Limited Parts", part of the "Limited Rule" implemented by B4 for the "Tobu Zoo Cup" Grade 2 (G2) event, held on June 15th, 2024. The Limited Rule was only used during the qualifying tournament, which was played with the "1on1 Battle" format. If WizardRod was used in a combo, the opponent would receive 1 point at the beginning of the match.^[1]

On February 15th, 2025, Beyblade Battle Base (B4) announced that WizardRod would be added to the "Hall of Fame", a list that restricts parts from official B4 tournaments. WizardRod was banned from 1on1 Battle and 3-Blader Battle matches, with the ban taking effect on April 1st, 2025 with the 7th Edition of the Beyblade X Regulations. WizardRod could however still be used in 3on3 Battle and Team Battle matches.^[2]
