It was released as a Booster in Japan on April 25th, 2020 for 1397円. Superking Chip - Valkyrie

SuperkingChipValkyrie
Main article: Superking Chip - Valkyrie

Valkyrie is a right-spin Superking Chip that features an armored face with a stylized V adorning the helmet, akin to its Gatinko Chip predecessor. These details represent the Superking Chip's namesake, valkyries, Odin's handmaidens in Norse mythology. Valkyrie has an average weight for Superking Chips, and is thus outclassed by heavier right-spin Superking Chips such as Hyperion 2 and Solomon, which have metal, as well as Diabolos and Spriggan, which has the versatility of dual-spin capabilities. Since the differences between most Superking Chips is only cosmetic, it is recommended to use the aforementioned Superking Chips over Valkyrie, as they offer additional advantages.

Ring - Brave

RingBrave
Main article: Ring - Brave

Brave is a Right-Spin Attack Type Ring that features three large wings as the primary points of contact, with rubber covering the beginning of each wing and the gaps between them, creating a shape with above average recoil. As part of the Superking Layer System, Brave is compatible with any Right-Spin or Dual-Spin Superking Chip and Chassis.

In theory, the three-sided shape and rubber would make Brave excel at delivering strong blows like many of its predecessors, but the front edges of its three wings don't protrude enough, which makes it face a problem similar to that of Winning Valkyrie. In addition, the rubber on Brave is relatively hard and doesn't seem to soften to a degree that changes its performance after wearing down through repetitive use. The secondary purpose of the rubber on Brave is to create a combination of the "Bound Attack" gimmick that God Valkyrie has and the "Bound Defense" gimmick that Screw Trident has. This should theoretically work by allowing the rubber to compress whenever one of the three wings is hit, but the rubber is too hard and thick for the gimmick to work as intended. On the plus side, Brave has a thick underside that allows it to hold itself and the attached Chip high enough to properly expose the teeth on the Chassis, granting great Burst Resistance. Due to the decently aggressive shape and good Burst Resistance, Brave performs well in Attack Combinations.

Brave is designed to be used with the 2A Chassis, which allows it to line up the wings for slightly enhanced attack power or to expose the wings on 2A to help against Left-Spin combinations. The 2A Chassis can be substituted for the 2S Chassis for a similar effect.

Chassis - 2A

Chassis2A
Main article: Chassis - 2A

2A or 2-Attack is a right-spin Attack Type Double Chassis with a three-sided design featuring three rubber blades. As a Double Chassis, a 2A combination cannot use a Disc, as 2A has a Disc integrated into the design.

Performance Tip - Evolution'

DriverEvolution'
Main article: Performance Tip - Evolution'

Evolution' features a rubber tip, made up of two sets of rubber spikes, that begins at a taller than average height. The spikes are meant to wear down and break off with use so, unlike most other rubber tips and like its predecessor VariableEvolution' will become more aggressive instead of less aggressive over time.

When launched in mint condition the first set of six spikes will create a mildly aggressive pattern at speeds akin to Blow, albeit without the Stamina due to the greater friction the rubber has. While Evolution''s taller height would, in theory, increase the rate of Disc-to-Layer contact and Burst the opponent, due to the height of most Layers and the minimal difference in height, such contact is rare. Furthermore, most Attack Type Combinations benefit from a shorter height as a taller height creates a Destabilization risk instead. Due to how tall the first six teeth are and the somewhat brittle nature of the rubber in the Takara Tomy release, the first set of teeth will break off relatively quickly.

When launched after the first set of six spikes have given way to the second set of fourteen spikes, Evolution''s speed increases remarkably, becoming as fast or even faster than Xtreme, due to the now increased surface area and diameter. However, that same speed and diameter increase makes Evolution' incredibly difficult to control at this stage as banking is difficult to maintain, Self-Knock-Outs become common and its Stamina worsens. Due to the greater number of spikes and their shorter length, Evolution' does not wear out as quickly at this stage. Of the stages, this stage of Evolution' is considered the best.

When the second set of spikes break off, what's left is a solid base of rubber. At this point Evolution''s speed increases further but the aforementioned control and Stamina issues become even worse, having trouble even staying on the Tornado Ridge of the stadium and losing spin too quickly to perform any meaningful attacks before it begins to slow down.

When Evolution' loses spikes, it does become shorter as a result. However because Evolution' starts above the standard height, the height reduction only brings the Tip back down to standard height. However, due to the wide base, Evolution' has relatively high Life-After-Death when worn down, making it a somewhat safer choice against Spin-Equalization Combinations.

Like other Dash Performance Tips, Evolution' features a stronger spring lock, increasing the Performance Tip's Burst Resistance.

Trivia

  • The name and design of Brave Valkyrie is from the winning entry in a Valkyrie design contest held by CoroCoro Comic.[1]
  • Like its predecessors Victory Valkyrie Boost Variable, God Valkyrie 6Vortex Reboot, Strike God Valkyrie 6Vortex Reboot, God Valkyrie 6Vortex Ultimate Reboot, Strike God Valkyrie 6Vortex Ultimate Reboot, Winning Valkyrie 12 Volcanic, Cho-Z Valkyrie Zenith Evolution, and Slash Valkyrie Blitz Power Retsu, Brave Valkyrie's name is based on the word "brave", a quality to not display any sign of fear, and "Valkyrie", a female Norse warrior that ride winged horses to combat.
  • Brave Valkyrie's avatar is an upgrade version of Slash Valkyrie's with several alterations:
    • Valkyrie now has light-blue skin and blue armor.
    • The armor sports blue-green gems on the pauldrons, vambraces and shin guards.
    • The vambraces now have two small gold spikes.
    • The pauldrons are triangular.
    • A red buckle on the belt reminiscent to the Superking Core on the Valkyrie Superking Chip.
    • Red and Gold lines on the armor.
    • The helmet sports three "V" crests: a gold half one on each side, a small red one and a large gold one on top.
    • It sports Valt's red Beyblade symbol on its left cheek.
    • The cape remains the same.
    • It has long red hair.
    • The sword's blade has an azure lining, dark-blue base with red markings, a gold hilt and handle, and a green gem on the hilt.
    • And the white horse has more sliver armor with red, blue and gold borders.
  • This is the first Valkyrie to not be a mid-season evolution that did not release in March.
