Brutal Luinor L4 13 Jolt-S, stylized as Brutal Lúinor L4 13 Jolt-S, is an Attack Type Beyblade released by Hasbro as part of the Burst System as well as the SlingShock System. It was released in western countries as a SlingShock Starter Pack for CAD$14.99 in Canada, USD$9.99 in the United States, and AUD$18.99 in Australia.

Energy Layer - Brutal Lúinor L4[]

Hasbro's Brutal Lúinor L4 is a wide Left-Spin Energy Layer that features five dragon heads, with one in the center of the Layer and four that line each of the wings that make up the points of contact, creating a diamond and thus aggressive design. Like most other SlingShock System Energy Layers, Brutal Lúinor L4 can fit a Level Chip.

Unlike its Takara Tomy counterpart Bloody Longinus, Brutal Lúinor L4 lacks the metal dragon heads, making it much lighter, with a weight equal to Dual Layer System Layers. While Lúinor L4 retains the same recoil-heavy shape, there is no weight to its attacks, rendering it outclassed by most SwitchStrike System Layers.

Forge Disc - 13[]

Main article: Forge Disc - 13

13, like most other odd numbered Core Discs, is asymmetrical and elliptical in shape in order to facilitate a Disc Frame. Each side features four protrusions with molding to create the shape of a "13" with one side featuring a greater number of molding lines, though too shallow to create any noticeable imbalance. While the aggressive design of the Disc may imply high Burst potential from Disc-to-Layer contact, due to the fact that most Burst Performance Tips are of the same or very similar heights, such contact is rare. Compared to other Core Discs, 13 is one of the lightest, even lighter than 6. This light weight severely hinders 13's Attack, Defense and Stamina potential and while the light weight would create high Burst Resistance, the heavy weight of the SwitchStrike/God Layer System and the Cho-Z Layer System makes the use of lightweight Discs for Burst Resistance obsolete.

Performance Tip - Jolt-S[]

Main article: Performance Tip - Jolt-S

Hasbro's Jolt-S is an Attack Type Driver and Hasbro's SlingShock counterpart to Jolt, featuring a flat rubber tip. Unlike Takara Tomy's Jolt, Hasbro's Jolt-S does not feature six spikes and is instead wider with a more traditional circular shape to create greater aggression. A pattern of the six spikes is engraved onto the rubber tip to simulate the appearance of the standard Jolt.

As a part of the SlingShock System, Jolt-S has a manual mode change, allowing it to switch between a "Battle Ring Mode" and a "SlingShock Mode".

In "Battle Ring Mode", Jolt-S creates a moderately aggressive movement pattern due to the flat rubber tip. If launched with a Banking Shoot, it creates a somewhat controllable movement pattern. In terms of speed, the wide surface area makes Jolt-S faster than Drivers such as Xtreme when launched at an angle, at the cost of control. The high friction of Jolt-S against the Stadium floor reduces the chance of losing a Banking Pattern in battle, making it an excellent Driver for Attack combinations.

In "SlingShock Mode", the flat tip is simply twisted and extended downwards, increasing its height, akin to Hunter-S. While the "Battle Ring Mode" is generally preferred due to its standard height, "SlingShock Mode" can be used in combinations with a high scrape risk, such as those utilizing QuadDrive Layers.
