Burn Phoenix 00 Assault' (バーンフェニックス・ダブルオー・アサルトダッシュ, Bān Fenikkusu Daburuō Asaruto Dasshu) is an Attack Type Beyblade released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System. It was released in Japan on July 23rd, 2020 for 1100円 as one of eight possible Beyblades in Random Booster Vol. 21.
Energy Layer - Burn Phoenix[]

Takara Tomy's Burn Phoenix is a Stamina Type Layer that adapts the Phoenix Face, Phoenix Clear Wheel, and Burn Metal Wheel of the Metal Series' Hybrid Wheel System for the Burst System. As such, Burn Phoenix resembles the general shape of these parts, with a design consisting of wings and tails of a phoenix, and a circular perimeter with two sets of wave-like ridges. The three parts are noninterchangeable and combined into a single piece. The Phoenix motif adorns the center of the Layer, with the word "Phoenix" on the sides. Compared to the original parts, the Burn Phoenix Layer is much wider - the "Metal Wheel" portion of the Layer is made of plastic, with metal lining the circumference. Burn Phoenix has poor Burst Resistance due to its fine locks.
Burn Phoenix initially saw little usage in tournaments at the time of its release, due to its light weight. Stamina Type Gatinko Layers such as Master Diabolos were 7 grams heavier, almost a quarter of the weight. However, changes in Stadiums used in official wbba. tournaments held by Takara Tomy created suitable conditions for Burn Phoenix to be used in a niche capacity. The Dash Beystadium and Beystadium DB Standard Type had larger Battle Areas, discouraging the use of Attack Types and making Stamina Type matchups common. As a result, Burn Phoenix became a viable deck option for 5G Battle; the circular perimeter of Burn Phoenix was decent against wide Same-Spin opponents, and also stayed sturdy due to the smoothness of the perimeter. However, its poor Burst Resistance and low weight meant Burn Phoenix was not a dominant Layer, and it saw nearly no play in World Beyblade Organization (WBO) tournaments, where the battle format was primarily 1on1 Battle, 3on3 Battle, or Deck Battle.
Forge Disc - 00[]

- Main article: Forge Disc - 00
00 is a symmetrical, elliptical disc that can facilitate a Disc Frame. 00 is the heaviest Core Disc, outclassing 0 by 1 gram, and has an ideal weight distribution for all Combinations. Its high Outward Weight Distribution (OWD) grants it not only the highest Stamina potential out of all other Core Discs, but its weight grants it high Attack and Defense potential. With the use of Disc Frames, 00 can be used to great effect in any Combination. While the weight can increase the risk of Bursts, the weight of most Layers released in the SwitchStrike/God Layer Systems and onward can compensate.
Performance Tip - Assault'[]

- Main article: Performance Tip - Assault'
Assault' is a wider version of Accel. It is a flat-based Performance Tip and is the same height as all previous Performance Tips released in the Beyblade Burst series. The top of the Driver features a symbol called alpha (α, the first letter of the Greek alphabet) which represents "αssault", for easy recognition between other Performance Tips. While Bladers commonly spell it as Assault, the use of the α in the official spelling ensures that the one-part-per-letter rule gets followed in the Burst System, instead of doubling the As.
Assault' performs like a standard flat tip, but it is just much faster around the stadium compared to previous releases because of its tip's wider circumference. The enhanced speed makes Assault' great for Attack Combinations, but this comes with sacrifices of control of the Beyblade. Due to the speed this Driver produces, it makes it a lot harder to pull off a flower pattern by Banking or performing a Sliding Shoot. As such, it is mostly only good at defeating Mobile Combinations that wander close to the Tornado Ridge, which it follows wildly once it catches onto it. The larger surface of contact's higher friction also comes at the expense of lower Stamina, with Assault' losing spin velocity earlier than smaller flat tips and delivering mediocre hits by the time it reaches the center of the stadium.
Like other Dash Performance Tips, Assault' features a stronger spring lock, increasing the Performance Tip's Burst Resistance.
