Burn Phoenix Yell Wedge (バーンフェニックス・エール・ウェッジ, Bān Fenikkusu Ēru Wejji) is a Stamina Type Beyblade released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System. It was released in Japan on February 22nd, 2020 for 660円 as the prize Beyblade in Random Booster Vol. 19.
Energy Layer - Burn Phoenix

- Main article: Energy Layer - Burn Phoenix
Takara Tomy's Burn Phoenix is a Stamina Type Layer that adapts the Phoenix Face, Phoenix Clear Wheel, and Burn Metal Wheel of the Metal Series' Hybrid Wheel System for the Burst System. As such, Burn Phoenix resembles the general shape of these parts, with a design consisting of wings and tails of a phoenix, and a circular perimeter with two sets of wave-like ridges. The three parts are noninterchangeable and combined into a single piece. The Phoenix motif adorns the center of the Layer, with the word "Phoenix" on the sides. Compared to the original parts, the Burn Phoenix Layer is much wider - the "Metal Wheel" portion of the Layer is made of plastic, with metal lining the circumference. Burn Phoenix has poor Burst Resistance due to its fine locks.
Burn Phoenix initially saw little usage in tournaments at the time of its release, due to its light weight. Stamina Type Gatinko Layers such as Master Diabolos were 7 grams heavier, almost a quarter of the weight. However, changes in Stadiums used in official wbba. tournaments held by Takara Tomy created suitable conditions for Burn Phoenix to be used in a niche capacity. The Dash Beystadium and Beystadium DB Standard Type had larger Battle Areas, discouraging the use of Attack Types and making Stamina Type matchups common. As a result, Burn Phoenix became a viable deck option for 5G Battle; the circular perimeter of Burn Phoenix was decent against wide Same-Spin opponents, and also stayed sturdy due to the smoothness of the perimeter. However, its poor Burst Resistance and low weight meant Burn Phoenix was not a dominant Layer, and it saw nearly no play in World Beyblade Organization (WBO) tournaments, where the battle format was primarily 1on1 Battle, 3on3 Battle, or Deck Battle.
Forge Disc - Yell

- Main article: Forge Disc - Yell
Yell features a ring with a wide diameter, greater than Spread and equal to Polish, and a thick metal star in the center to create a centralized weight, akin to Central. The centralized weight is meant to increase spin velocity which has numerous effects on Performance:
If used on Attack Combinations, the higher spin velocity will increase the force of impact. If used on Defense Combinations, the centralized weight will increase Knock-Out Resistance.
Combined with the wide, circular perimeter and the raised position of the ring, Yell will also grant high Life-After-Death and increase Precession time. However, the centralized weight creates numerous drawbacks as well:
The centralized weight will reduce movement speed in Attack Combinations making it ill-suited for Mobile Combinations and the lack of Outward Weight Distribution (OWD) gives Defense and Stamina Combinations poor spin retention.
Performance Tip - Wedge

- Main article: Performance Tip - Wedge
Wedge features a tall low angled cone tip made of metal, akin to a metal version of Survive, that sits at a standard height. The Stamina of such shapes is further bolstered by the low friction of the metal which also theoretically increases the Burst Resistance of any Wedge Combination. These features grant Wedge high Stamina potential, which would make it an excellent choice for Stamina Combinations. However, Wedge has two major weakness that make it a huge risk in competitive play, the low friction of the metal and the weight distribution of the Tip itself.
Due to how little friction there is between the metal tip and the stadium floor, Wedge is easy to Destabilize as well as Knock-Out. While the Tip may seem to be comprised mostly of metal and thus heavy to create a stable low center of gravity, the metal in Wedge is in fact hollow which limits weight. Furthermore, Wedge itself is unbalanced which creates erratic movements that increases Burst risk and drains Stamina.
Wedge notably does not have the Beystadium-damaging abilities of its Metal Series (Metal Sharp) and X Series (Metal Needle) counterparts. The tip has a lower angle, and is not as sharp as its counterparts.
