2D, also known as 2-Defense, is a Chassis released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System as well as the Superking Layer System. It debuted in Japan with the release of the B-169 Starter, Variant Lucifer Mobius 2D, on July 18th, 2020. It later debuted in western countries with the release of Hasbro's Pro Series Starter Pack, Variant Lucius Mobius 2D.

2D or 2-Defense is a dual-spin Defense Type Double Chassis with a "Barrier Blades" gimmick. As a Double Chassis, a 2D combination cannot use a Disc, as 2D has a Disc integrated into the design. At high spin velocity, the centrifugal force activates the Barrier Blades, which deploy outwards that are intended to nullify attacks.
