Cloud Lyra 85SF is a Balance-type Beyblade released in Random Booster Vol. 9 Fusion Hades.
Face Bolt - Lyra
- Main article: Face Bolt - Lyra
The Face Bolt depicts "Lyra", one of the 88 space constellations. It's represented by an eagle carrying a Lyra, either on it's wings or in its beak. In Greek mythology, a musician named Orpheus was killed by the female follower of Dionysu, the Maenads. Upon his death, his lyre was thrown into a river, after which the Zeus, the God of the Sky and Thunder, sent an eagle to retrieve the lyre and ordered both the Lyre and Orpheus to be placed in the sky as a constellation. The design features a red and black lyre with eyes and flaming strings on a silver Face Bolt.
Energy Ring - Lyra
- Main article: Energy Ring - Lyra
Lyre appears to have an unusual appearance, with many curves it gives it a lyre-like appearance. Lyre's apperance makes it seem like it is unbalanced because the spirals are mirrored. If you look at the Pegasus III energy ring, for example, the wings are all curved to the left but if you look on the Lyra energy ring, the left spiral, it's curved to the left while the right spiral is curved to the right. This is the first energy ring to have mirrored designs. Small circular-like spheres appear on the Ring's top and bottom. The Energy Ring released for Spiral Lyre ED145MF is black with a translucent silver on the Ring's sides with red characters appearing near the spheres..
Fusion Wheel - Cloud
- Main article: Fusion Wheel - Torch
Torch is a Fusion Wheel based on the Metal System Wheel Aries. Torch is designed to "fit" with the Aries Energy Ring. Like Aries, Torch has three ram heads with six horns. Due to its light weight and large gaps, Torch has high recoil due to its poor contact points. As such, Torch has poor Defense and Stamina, and has no competitive use.
Spin Track - 85
- Main article: Spin Track - 85
85 is the lowest Spin Track available and thus, the best Spin Track for low attackers due to its Attack and Stamina capabilities. However, 85's low height causes it to scrape the stadium floor when it begins to lose spin. Due to this, some prefer to use 90 over 85. However, if placed with tall Performance Tips, like Rubber Flat (RF), 85 can avoid floor scrapes as much as possible. Although 85 can be countered with Spin Tracks like TH170 and 230, it still remains an excellent Spin Track for Attack Type customizations. However, low-attacker Spin Tracks like 85 and 90 have fallen into disuse with the release of Flame Byxis 230WD and Hades Kerbecs BD145DS, as their Spin Tracks are immune to low attackers.
Performance Tip - Semi-Flat
- Main article: Performance Tip - Semi Flat
Semi-Flat (SF) is a sharp tip with a flattened end. As a result, Semi-Flat displays a combination of Attack and Stamina qualities, moving in a semi-aggressive pattern. Because of this however, the two attributes are compromised, resulting in an average performance in both categories.
Semi-Flat produces a movement pattern that, while aggressive, is much slower than any flat Performance Tip. The increased friction with the stadium floor due to the wider tip both increases its Defense and Stamina in comparison to a bottom similar to Spike (S) or Eternal Spike (ES). However, it is in absolutely no competition with Performance Tips such as Wide Defense (WD) for Stamina or Rubber Spike (RS) for Defense.
Semi-Flat found a niche use in Destabilizer combinations, where a low Spin Track combined with Semi-Flat's balanced qualities allowed the Beyblade to destabilize the opposing Beyblade.
