Coach Steel is a recurring character in the Metal Saga, first appearing in Beyblade: Metal Masters and later in Beyblade: Metal Fury. He owns the Dungeon Gym in the U.S.
Appearance
Coach Steel is a tall, muscular man, and has a dark skin tone. He is bald but has retained a beard. He has dark grey eyes and brown eyebrows. He wears a grey sleeveless shirt, grey gloves and black trousers.
Personality
Coach Steel does get annoyed quite a lot with Masamune, but he is kind and friendly to the rest of the kids. He trains his gym trainees extremely hard usually giving them, "Shadow Launches" as a practice. He usually gives them around 300-500 which most aren't happy about showing that he is serious when it comes to training. He believes in hard work and trains in a way that will make bladers sweat.
Plot
Coach Steel is the owner of Dungeon Gym where he trains bladers.
Beyblade: Metal Masters
He first appears in Metal Masters when when Masamune, Gingka, Tsubasa, Yu, Madoka, and Kenta travel to America for the finale of the Beyblade World Championships. He is surprised to see Masamune again because he exclaims, "Well, rub my shiny head! It's you Masamune!".
Beyblade: Metal Fury
He modifies Masamune's Ray Striker D125CS into Blitz Striker 100RSF and watches the battle royal

- He, along with Demure, Sala, Sala's father, and Team Garcias are the only brown skinned characters in the Beyblade Metal Series.
- He can be considered a Beyblade Mechanic because of the modifications he made from Ray Striker D125CS to Blitz Striker 100RSF.
