Cobalt Drake is a four-sided Attack Type Blade with four upward slanting blades acting as the main contact points. The blades are similar to those of Dran Sword, albeit smaller in size. At the time of writing, Cobalt Drake, along with another painted "Metal Coat" Blade Phoenix Wing, is the heaviest Blade at an average weight of 38.0 grams.

Like the other Team Pendragon Blades, Cobalt Dragoon is a reference to Team Bladebreakers' Beyblades from Bakuten Shoot Beyblade, in this case being Dragoon. The Gear Chip features the side profile of the Blue Dragon (Seiryū), one of the Four Auspicious Beasts from Chinese mythology, with cobalt being the shade of blue used for the Blade. Like the other Team Pendragon Beyblades, the Gear Chip has the Bakuten Shoot Beyblade logo.

Flat or F is an Attack Type Bit that features a flat tip with a shallow circular indentation in the center. The flat tip creates aggressive movement, which makes it easier to contact the Xtreme Line (X-Celerator Rail) to perform the Xtreme Dash gimmick.

Flat has a shorter variant, Low Flat (LF), which has a tip that is about 1 millimeter shorter.
