Lucifer (ルシファー, Rushifā) is a DB Core released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System as well as the Dynamite Battle Layer System and the Burst Ultimate Layer Series. It debuted in Japan with the release of the B-206 Booster, Barricade Lucifer Illegal Bearing Mobius-10, on December 10th, 2022.
Description
Takara Tomy's Lucifer is a right-spin DB Core that features the face of the DB Core's namesake, Lucifer, a fallen angel from Abrahamic religions. The top left and top right of the DB Core features two golden letter "H"-shaped claws, referencing Helios and Hyperion respectively. Like the Valkyrie 2 DB Core, Lucifer features three thick Locks and high Burst Resistance. This is further complemented by three "BU Locks". The "BU Lock" gimmick consists of three grooves on Lucifer that lock into raised protrusions on the Disc tabs of the two BU Lock compatible DB Discs, Xanthus and Moon. This results in increased Burst Resistance and a sturdy combinations, preventing the Disc from shaking during battle.
Overall
The Lucifer DB Core features top-tier Stamina performance and strong Burst Resistance, making it an excellent choice for Stamina combinations.
As such, Lucifer is a must-have for the WBO's Burst format.
