Devil Xcalibur Moon High Wave'-2 (デビルエクスカリバー・ムーン・ハイウェーブダッシュ-2, Debiru Ekusukaribā Mūn Hai Uēbu Dasshu-2) is a Balance Type Beyblade released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System as well as the Dynamite Battle Layer System and the Burst Ultimate Layer Series. It was released in Japan on September 10th, 2022 for 1400円 as one of five possible Beyblades in Random Booster Vol. 30.

DB Core - Xcalibur

Main article: DB Core - Xcalibur

Takara Tomy's Xcalibur is a right-spin DB Core that features large sword, representing the DB Core's namesake; Excalibur, the legendary sword of King Arthur. The design is reminiscent of its predecessor, the Xeno Xcalibur Layer. Xcalibur is the second heaviest right-spin DB Core and the second heaviest DB Core overall, behind Perseus.

Xcalibur features a gimmick: after the first click, a built-in metal sword extends outwards, but is hindered by the Disc tabs. After the second click, the sword fully extends, shifting the Beyblade's center of gravity and theoretically increasing Attack Potential. In this activated, imbalanced state, it is known as the "One Hit Mode (一撃モード, Ichigeki Mōdo)". Xcalibur's gimmick and imbalanced weight distribution is intended to work in tandem with the Xiphoid BU Blade, lining up with the sword-tip like protrusion of Xiphoid. The heavy weight of Xcalibur also generates high inertia which increases a Xcalibur combination's Knockout and Burst Attack potential.

Xcalibur is compatible with the "BU Lock" gimmick. When paired with the two BU Lock compatible DB Discs, Xanthus and Moon, raised protrusions on the Disc tabs lock into two grooves on Xcalibur. This results in increased Burst Resistance and a sturdy combination, preventing the Disc from shaking during battle.

Blade - Devil

Main article: Blade - Devil

Takara Tomy's Devil is a right-spin Attack Type Blade with three blades acting as the main contact points. Devil is nearly identical to the Dynamite Blade in weight, shape, and performance; the most notable difference is a devil wing texture design on its three blades. While intended for Attack combinations, Devil has poor Attack performance due to its light weight, and its contact points are too short and stubby.

Devil is compatible with the F Gear and L Gear. When the F Gear is attached, the perimeter of Devil becomes rounder, with the rubber of the F Gear filling in gaps between the three blades. This round perimeter makes Devil one of the strongest Stamina Type options in the metagame, alongside the Wind BU Blade. Compared to Wind, Devil has slightly higher performance against Same-Spin opponents. Its superb Stamina performance against both Same-Spin and Opposite-Spin opponents makes Devil and the F Gear a must-have in the Burst metagame.

Like all Blades, Devil can switch between Low and High Modes by swapping the position of the DB Core and the Armor. When the L Gear is used, Devil can only be used in High Mode; although this adds weight and increases performance, High Mode is primarily used in Opposite-Spin Stamina matchups. As there are better Blades to use in these matchups, Devil with L Gear is not recommended.

As a result of its high Stamina performance, Devil with F Gear has been a staple of the metagame since its release, and is one of the two strongest Stamina Layers in the game, alongside Wind.

Armor - 2

Main article: Armor - 2

Takara Tomy's 2 is an Armor with two pointed ends opposite to each other. The two-sided shape has an even weight distribution at two opposite points to increase Attack.

Forge Disc - Moon

Main article: Forge Disc - Moon

Takara Tomy's Moon is a circular DB Disc named that features an outer plastic piece meant to invoke the Expand Disc Frame, whose design Moon references. Moon also features two gaps separating the center from the edge, which are intended to further create Outward Weight Distribution (OWD) and thus increase Stamina.

Moon is one of two DB Discs that can use the "BU Lock" gimmick, with the same metal piece as Xanthus. Like Xanthus, Moon features raised protrusions on its tabs, which can lock into two grooves on a "BU Lock" compatible DB Core. This results in increased Burst Resistance and a sturdy combination, preventing the Disc from shaking during battle.
