Star (スター, Sutā) is a Disc Frame released as part of the Burst System as well as the God Layer System. It debuted with the release of the Random Booster Vol. 8 Shelter Regulus.5S.Tw on October 21st, 2017. It later debuted in western countries with the release of the SwitchStrike Starter Pack Regulus R3 5Star Tower.

Star, as its name implies, is a Disc Frame that has a star-like shape. Its design consists of eight protrusions; five of which are placed in a star-like formation, and the other three are placed in between them. The underside of the Disc Frame features ten protrusions; eight of which are seen on the frontside, and the other two are placed near the sockets needed to apply Star onto a Core Disc.

While Star is too small to come into contact with the opponent's Layer, its thick design makes it heavier than most Disc Frames, providing use in Attack Combinations, though not to the degree of other Disc Frames such as Meteor and Bump. However, unlike the aforementioned Disc Frames, Star's rather smooth underside provides Life After Death, though not to the degree of Glaive and Cross. Nonetheless, Star has use in both Attack Combinations and Spin Equalization Combinations.

Use in Attack Combinations

Star can be put to use in the Attack Combination Legend Spriggan/Sieg Xcalibur 2/4/5/7/8 Star Xtreme. The weight of Star bolsters the weight of 2/4/5/7/8 which adds to the high Attack potential of Legend Spriggan/Sieg Xcalibur and Xtreme granting high amounts of Burst Attack.

While Meteor and Bump are heavier, Star nonetheless makes an excellent alternative in Attack Combinations if Meteor or Bump are unavailable. Furthermore, while Glaive and Cross grant higher amounts of Life After Death, Star is still comparable with greater weight.

As such, Star is not a must have but is instead a welcome addition to a blader's collection.
