Turn (ターン, Tān) is a Disc Frame released by Takara Tomy and Hasbro as part of the Burst System as well as the Cho-Z Layer System and SwitchStrike System. It debuted in Japan with the release of the B-125 Random Booster Vol. 12 Dead Hades.11T.Z' on October 20th, 2018. It later debuted in western countries with the release of the SwitchStrike Starter Pack Hades H3 11Turn Zephyr.

Description

Turn features a gimmick similar to Lift, which has a “Defense Mode” which which is meant to parry hits from the opponent and reduce recoil during Disc-to-Layer contact and an “Attack Mode” which is meant to increase Burst Attack during Disc-to-Layer contact. However, due to most Burst Performance Tips being of the same or very similar heights, such contact is rare. Despite the ineffective gimmick, Turn is one of the heaviest frames, heavier than Lift and Bump but lighter than Wall, which grants high attack potential without the scrape risk when paired with heavy discs such as 0.

Overall

Turn’s ability to further add weight to Core Discs makes it a key part in many Attack Combinations. Furthermore, with being heavier than Bump without the scrape risk of Lift and Wall, Turn has become the heaviest Attack frame at the time of writing.

As such, Turn is a must have for competitive bladers.
