Doomscizor Oval Accel, known as Deathscyther Oval Accel (デスサイザー・オーバル・アクセル, Desusaizā Ōbaru Akuseru) in Japan, is an Attack Type Beyblade released as part of the Burst System. It was released as a Starter in Japan on August 8th, 2015 for 1200円 and was later released in western countries as a Single Pack.

Energy Layer - Doomscizor

Main article: Energy Layer - Doomscizor
Doomscizor is an Attack Type Energy Layer that has a four-bladed design with very smooth sides. In the center is a hooded skull looking to the left, meant to represent its Japanese namesake; the personification of Death, known as the Grim Reaper.

The colored plastic underneath the transparent plastic casing is focused in the center, as well as on half of the perimeter. For the Takara Tomy release of Deathscyther, its three teeth are descending in order; meaning that the first one is very tall, that the second tooth is just slightly shorter than the surrounding ring in the middle and that the third one is small.

Due to its smooth features and the weight concentration that allows for a Flywheel Effect, it excels in Stamina Combinations. Without huge impacts with momentum, opponents are unable to use one of its protrusions to destabilize it or push it in reverse to make it skip over one of its teeth, especially since the first one in the series is tall, following the trait of Energy Layers labeled as Attack types by the producer. Therefore, in a Stamina-based battle, it holds its ground and can spin almost undisturbed until the end.

Forge Disc - Oval

Main article: Forge Disc - Oval
Oval, like the name implies, is shaped like an oval. Os appear on the upper side of the Forge Disc as well for easy recognition. In theory, Oval would provide extra momentum to the Beyblade's spin by spreading the weight at two opposite sides. However, its underside is mostly hollowed out, making it the second lightest Forge Disc released, the first being 12. Its odd shape only ends up hindering the Beyblade's stability, making the Combination using it precess dangerously the moment another Beyblade hits it. Even for Niche Combinations such as Hop Attackers using Quake, Oval only poses a risk of Destabilization, and it cannot make up for it by any significant aid in Attack.

Performance Tip - Accel

Main article: Performance Tip - Accel
Accel features a flat plastic tip with a small diameter akin to the Flat Performance Tip from Metal Fight Saga and the Flat Running Core from HMS and sits at a standard height. The center of the Driver also contains an embossed logo featuring a stylized letter A for easy differentiation from other Drivers. Accel performs as a standard flat tip and when launched straight, it catches onto the Tornado Ridge and rapidly circles the stadium, eventually moving closer to the center of the arena when it has less Spin Velocity. Alternatively, if launched with a Sliding Shoot, it will be able to maintain a flower pattern and cross the center of the stadium a few times at high Spin Velocity.

With the introduction of XtremeAccel's usefulness in Attack Combinations has been reduced. Even though it has more Stamina and is a lot more controllable, it has less speed and power in comparison to Drivers like Xtreme and even Hunter. Due to these reasons it is outclassed for Attack Combinations but it is still the second best Driver for Mobile Stamina Combinations, only being outclassed by Zephyr in that Department. Unlike the fragile Zephyr which is known for breakage and denting problems with constant use, Accel does not suffer from such problems. While Zephyr has better Stamina than Accel, due to its fragility issues and the fact that the difference in their performance is negligible, Accel is an excellent substitute for Zephyr.
