'Draciel Of Approval is the 5th episode in the first season of Beyblade.'
Episode summary
Max is completely overpowered in his semi-finals match againstKai. Kai wins the first round without breaking a sweat. But when Max tries a reverse launch in the second round, he wins. Accidentally, his blade smashed into his grandmother's pendant, which his dad gave to him for good luck. And out comes a Bit Beast named Draciel. He puts it into his blade and battles in the third round. Although he had a Bit Beast, Max didn't know how to control it. So Kai won. Now he had a spot in the finals to battle whoever wins in the battle of Tyson Vs. Ray.

- First appearance of Draciel, who becomes Max's Bit-Beast in this episode.
- Kai defeats Max and goes to the finals in this episode.
- When Max put the Draciel bit into his blade, both Dragoon and Dranzer were shown to have reacted to this. It wasn't shown if Driger made any reaction to this or not, but that may be because Driger at this point hadn't appeared yet.
- In the manga, the pendant that Max's dad gives him belonged to his mother.
- In the manga chapter, this episode was named Introducing Draciel.
