Draciel Shield 4Flow Cycle (ドラシエルシールド・フォーフロー・サイクル, Dorashieru Shīru Fō Furō Saikuru) is a Stamina Type Beyblade released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System. It was released in Japan on July 15th, 2017 for 972円 as one of eight possible Beyblades in Random Booster Vol. 7 Maximum Garuda.8F.Fl.

Energy Layer - Draciel Shield

Main article: Energy Layer - Draciel Shield (Takara Tomy)

Takara Tomy's Draciel Shield is a Burst System adaptation of the Cross Spike Attack Ring and Draciel Bit Chip from the Original Series' Spin Gear System. As such it features an overall square/diamond shape with four projected turtle heads with flat spikes which act as the main contact points with an image of the Bit Beast Draciel in the center. The only differences between the Energy Layer and original Attack Ring is that the four turtle heads are more compact making the Layer somewhat smaller than the Attack Ring and the "Bit Chip" is non-removable. Draciel Shield features teeth comparable to those of Victory Valkyrie.

The pointed design of the Layer makes Draciel Shield ill-suited for Defense or Stamina Combinations and instead function akin to a four pointed Xcalibur. While this may imply high Attack potential, Draciel Shield is crippled by its hollow construction which makes it one of the lightest Layers in the game. The light weight creates low inertia, which when coupled with the high recoil design, leaves the teeth incapable of compensating and thus Draciel Shield is highly prone to Bursts.

Forge Disc - 4

Main article: Forge Disc - 4

4, like other even numbered Core Discs, is symmetrical and elliptical in shape in order to facilitate a Disc Frame. Each side features two protrusions, one molded into the shape of a "4" and the other molded into the shape of the Roman Numeral "IV". The protrusions extend further from the center more than other Core Discs which grants 4 high Outward Weight Distribution (OWD) and subsequent Stamina potential. As a Core Disc, 4 is comparatively heavier than regular Forge Discs such as Heavy and Gravity which grants higher Knock-Out Resistance and the ability to facilitate Disc Frames can add characteristics such as Life-After-Death with Cross or Glaive. While 7 has greater Stamina, 4's Stamina is still comparable.

Disc Frame - Flow

Main article: Disc Frame - Flow

Flow is a Disc Frame that features a triangular design with each side featuring three sloped blades, meant to provide Upper Force in Right-Spin and Down Force in Left-Spin. However, the small size of the blades means that the effect is negligible. Compared to Cross, Star and Glaive, Flow’s perimeter is too rough to aid in Life-After-Death in Defense and Stamina Combinations and compared to Vortex, Meteor and Bump, Flow has too little weight to aid in Attack Combinations.

Performance Tip - Cycle

Main article: Performance Tip - Cycle

Cycle features a low angle cone tip akin to Survive, but differs by having a free-spinning disc above the tip, akin to Metal Fight Beyblade's Eternal Defense 145, the housing of which also extends down around the tip creating a free spinning ring like an inverse Gyro. In theory, the disc is meant to contact the stadium floor when the Beyblade is off balance and bring it back upright while minimizing Stamina loss due to the disc's free spinning nature. In practice however, the disc does little to Stabilize a Combination and causes Stamina loss despite the free spinning nature as pressure at an angle, which is created by a listing Beyblade, creates resistance and makes the disc lock up. While the secondary point of contact created by the disc can create some level of Knock-Out Resistance equal to Orbit, the resistance caused by the disc locking up increases the risk of Bursts, unlike Orbit which increases Burst Resistance.
