Drain Fafnir F3 8-RC Nothing-RC is a Stamina Type Beyblade released by Hasbro as part of the Burst System as well as the SwitchStrike System. It was released in western countries as part of the Drain Fafnir F3 Digital Control Kit for USD$39.99 in the United States.
Energy Layer - Drain Fafnir F3

Hasbro's Drain Fafnir F3 is a round left-spin Stamina Type Layer based on Takara Tomy's Drain Fafnir God Layer. Drain Fafnir F3 is nearly identical to Drain Fafnir, with the only visual difference being the God Chip is now irremovable. Like Drain Fafnir, Drain Fafnir F3 features three dragon heads meant to represent this Layer's namesake: Fafnir, a dragon from Norse mythology. These dragon heads have clear plastic "horns" and rubber "F"s that sticks out slightly at two points along the perimeter. Three claws grasp the center God Chip. These molding details give Drain Fafnir F3 a rough perimeter and a high Outward Weight Distribution (OWD) by concentrating the weight along the perimeter. As part of the SwitchStrike System, Drain Fafnir F3 features a gimmick: the rubber "F"s aid in the ability to Spin-Equalize with a right-spin opponent. Compared to Drain Fafnir, Drain Fafnir F3 does not Spin-Equalize as well, as the rubber "F"s are harder and thus have less friction. However, the effect is still there and is strong enough to win by the same Spin-Equalization strategy.
